1. Financial Report

The financial report is a dual-axis line chart that displays data on sales revenues, expenses, gross profit, and margins over time.

The report also includes the totals for the selected Time Interval.

Widget Info:

Widget Size: 2 x 1

Widget Title: “Financial Report”

Chart Data:

Type: Line Chart

y-axis (left): Amount ($)

y-axis (right): Margin (%)

x-axis: “Dates” (should display date range consistent with the Time Interval selection)

Chart Variables:

  • Revenue (total income from Shipments)

  • Expenses (Expenses related to the products sold (for freight, what is paid to the carriers))

  • Gross Profit (Revenue - Expenses)

  • Margin (Gross Profit / Revenue) - should display as a percentage.

    • Please use a Dashed line for this variable (or a line that is otherwise visibly different from the other variables to signify that it belongs to the second axis)

Labels: Labels on the bottom should identify the color for each variable on the chart

Tooltip: When the user hovers over a point for a variable in the chart, a tooltip should appear and display the data for that point. The data should include:

  • The date range for that point

  • The total (sum) of the variable for that point

Totals

This widget should display the Totals for each variable to the right of the chart, for the entire time interval.

The colors of each Total should match the corresponding color used for that variable on the chart

Data Selector Dropdown (DSD)

Note that this widget has a DSD so that the user can see teamwide statistics, as well as individual statistics for each category. The dropdown options should be the members of the Sales team.

2. Customer Acquisition Report

The customer acquisition report provides a visual representation on the status of the Sales Pipeline.

Widget Info:

Widget Size: 2 x 2

Widget Title: “Customer Acquisition”

Chart Data:

Chart Type: funnel chart (https://www.highcharts.com/demo/funnel)

It displays the number of people, or “Prospects”, in each stage of the Sales Pipeline.

This data is created and managed in Zoho, the customer relationship management (CRM) platform that is used by the Zuum sales team.

There are 9 stages in the sales pipeline.

Variables are displayed in chronological order, from top to bottom, and are as follows:

  1. Qualified Leads

  2. RFI

  3. Demo

  4. RFQ

  5. Proposal

  6. Round 2

  7. Won (if possible, please set this color to green)

  8. Lost (gray)

  9. Lost to Competitors (red)

Velocity

This widget also provides data about how long it takes (in days) for Prospects to move through the pipeline.

There are two velocity metrics

  • Per phase (if possible, please include this number in the hover tooltip)

    • The amount of time (in days) that a Prospect spends in each stage of the pipeline

    • This number will display within the tooltip, when the user hovers over a phase in the chart

  • Start to Finish

    • The average amount of time that it takes a Prospect to move through the entire pipeline

    • This number is displayed below the bar chart

Phases 7, 8, and 9 are all finish-line phases. So once a Prospect is placed on Phase 7, 8, OR 9, they have reached the end of the pipeline, for the purpose of calculating pipeline velocity.

Tooltip:
When a user hovers over the bar chart, a tooltip should appear with the following data:

  • Stage

  • Current Prospect count for that stage

  • Avg. Number of days in stage (if possible)

    • This is the average number of days a user spends in that phase before moving forward

Remember, the Average number of days should not display for phases 7, 8, and 9 because these are all finish-line phases.

Data Selector Dropdown (DSD)

Note that this widget has a DSD so that the user can see teamwide statistics, as well as individual statistics for each category. The dropdown options should be the members of the Sales team.
