Objective:

  • Under carrier profile, we want to add a new tab called “Lanes”

  • As a broker admin, you come here to manage preferred and awarded lanes for a carrier

  • This is the page where you as a Broker Admin manages awarded lanes for the carrier

  • Request icon for broker and carrier is different

Use Case #1: Save Preferred Dedicated Lane for Carrier

This makes the carrier a “Lane Seeker” for the lane you save

Step #1: laneTab_00

  • Click “Add New Lane”

  • Make sure the toggle is set to “No

  • Enter all fields and save

Use Case #2: Create a lane and nominate this carrier as a dedicated carrier for this lane

This action not only creates a new lane under lane bank but also nominate this carrier as a dedicated carrier for it

  • Click “Request Removal” button

Use Case #3: Responding to carrier’s rate/volume changes

Step #1: Zuum Admin

  • Broker Admin receives a notification about the request

Step #2: Lane Details with Pop-up Modal

  • Clicking the notification will take you to the lane details showing the request pop-up modal

Step #3: Take Action

  • There are three actions to take

    • Close

      • Closes out the modal

    • Decline

      • Declines the request and will send carrier a declined email

    • Accept

      • Accepts the request and will send carrier an accepted email

      • Changes the value

Use Case #4: Responding to carrier’s request removal
